How it all started…
We spent our childhoods roaming the hills and woods of the Welsh Marches. Foraging and self sufficiency in fruit and vegetables was our way of life and preserving our produce as the seasons unfolded was part of the rhythm.
The crabapples grown in our kitchen garden mixed with a few foraged hedgerow crabapples with the addition of our hot greenhouse grown chillies. Dependant on the variety used this delightfully flavoured jelly varies in colour from gold to pink. It has a punch perfect served alongside any Christmas cheese board.
Ingredients: crabapples, water, sugar, fresh chillies.
